Once a sceptic, always a sceptic — that's what I thought, anyway.

My mum was a psychic and healer who tried for years to pull me into meditation, channelling, readings and healing work. I rolled my eyes through most of it. Even when a psychic told me my life purpose was Astrology and Tarot, I laughed her out of the room. Sure, I'd been obsessed with Astrology since I was a kid, giving mini readings to friends at school. Sure, Tarot was a fun party trick over Friday night wine. But a career? No way.

Then mum got sick. Really sick. One day, sitting at the end of her hospital bed, a portal opened in the room — the same tunnel people describe in near-death experiences. I was standing at its entrance with her, holding her hand, watching our ancestors reach out with open arms. I told her it was safe to go. She passed peacefully a few hours later.

That moment broke my scepticism wide open — I knew I hadn't imagined it, and I could no longer ignore what was calling me.

Since then I've trained as a professional Tarot reader, Evolutionary Astrologer, Human Design practitioner and Neuro Transformation Therapist — the irony isn't lost on me. A few years after mum died, she came through in a mediumship reading to thank me for helping her cross over. Validation complete.

Now I'm on a mission to guide other empaths and highly sensitive people to drop their conditioning and grow through truth, love, joy and prosperity. This is the way for empaths - not struggle or suffering.
